Edge has seen an increase ranging form 25-40 horsepower and 90-120 foot pounds
of torque; this results in an average increase of 5 mph up a 7% grade.
Q: WILL INSTALLING THE CAT MODULE VOID MY FACTORY WARRANTY?
A:
No. Under the Magnusson-Moss Warranty-Federal Trade Commission Improvement Act
of 1975, aftermarket equipment, which improves performance, does not void a
vehicle¹s manufacturer original warranty (unless the warranty clearly states the
addition of aftermarket equipment automatically voids your vehicle¹s warranty,
or if the aftermarket devise is the direct cause of the failure). The easiest
way to check is to look in your owner¹s manual under ³what is not covered². It
is recommended that you remove the module before any service work is performed.
Leaving he product installed may affect dealer diagnostic analysis and scan tool
functions.
Q: WILL THE CAT MODULE INCREASE MY FUEL ECONOMY?
A:
Yes. Based on driving style you may see about an increase in fuel economy
ranging from 0.5 to 1 mpg depending on driving style.
